Quite a long while ago, I happened to catch the Sci-Fi channel's Saturday night movie A Sound of Thunder. The premise of a time-traveling expedition to prehistoric times which resulted in disastrous repercussions on the modern world seemed vaguely familiar.

These days, when I see the word "leviathan" two examples immediately come to mind. The first is Moya from Farscape. Moya was the stolen prisoner transport ship that became home to John Crichton and friends. She was massive--as the "Leviathan Transport" designation suggests, and full of mysteries.
